Nandan Nilekani.

B.Tech, Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay in 1978. Co-founded Infosys Limited in 1981. Currently the chairman of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). Serves as Co-chairman of the IIT Bombay Heritage Fund. Listed among the world's 100 most influential people by Time magazine. Given the Padma Bhushan, which is one of the most prestigious honors in India given to a civilian.

Kanwal Rekhi.

Graduated as an Electrical Engineer in 1967 from IIT Bombay. Co-founded and served as CEO of Excelan. Currently a board member of Pan IIT USA Inc. Donated $3 million to IIT Bombay to set up a new School of Information Technology. Recipient of a Doctorate degree in Business and Engineering. Founding limited partner of infinity Capital India - a successful venture fund.

Ashish Chauhan.

Graduated from IIT Bombay with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1989. Current Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Served as the CEO of Mumbai Indians, in the Indian Premier League (IPL), as the CEO of Reliance Infosolutions. Donated $3 million to IIT Bombay to set up a new School of Information Technology. Serves on the Boards of directors of Central Depository Services Limited (CDSL), Bank of India Shareholding Ltd (BOISL), BSE Institute Ltd(BIL) and Marketplace Technologies.

Victor Menezes.

B.Tech, Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay in 1970. Master of Science degree in finance and economics from the Sloan School of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1972. Senior Advisor with New Silk Route Partners LLC. Formerly Senior Vice Chairman of Citigroup Inc., and after a 32-year global career in the company, retired in January 2005. Donated $3 million to IIT Bombay Heritage Fund, in 2007, for building a world class convention centre (VMCC).

Ajit Ranade.

Bachelors of Technology in department of electrical engineering from IIT Bombay. MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a PhD in Economics from Brown University, USA. Chief Economist of the Aditya Birla Group, a diversified multinational conglomerate. He is a Director on the board of Hindalco Almex Aerospace Limited. He is also the Government of India's nominee Director on the Board of Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. (MCX). He was Chief Economist and Head of Microfinance Business at ABN AMRO Bank, India. He is an active member of industry chambers. He chairs the Research Advisory Committee of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. He is also a member of the Senate and the Advisory Council of IIT Bombay.

Bharat Desai.

Bachelors of Technology in department of electrical engineering from IIT Bombay in 1975. Co-founder of Syntel, 1980. MBA in Finance from University of Michigan. The 20 crore target for Indoor Gymkhana Project was achieved through major contribution of Bharat Desai (7.5 crore). Recognized as "Entrepreneur of the Year" by USA Today and NASDAQ. Ranked 239th in Forbes "richest people in US".

Jairam Ramesh.

B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (1975). He studied public management at Carnegie Mellon University during 1975-77, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is a founding member of the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad and is a member of the International Council of the New York-based Asia Society. He is a Member of Parliament representing Andhra Pradesh state in the Rajya Sabha since June, 2004. In July, 2011, Mr. Ramesh was elevated to the Union Council of Ministers of India and appointed Minister of Rural Development and Minister (Additional Charge) of the new Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation.

Manohar Parrikar.

B.tech in Metallurgical Engineering (1978). Currently the chief minister of Goa. He is also credited with single handedly bringing the IFFI(International Film Festival of India) to Goa. He received "Distinguished Alumnus Award" by IIT Bombay in 2001 and was awarded the CNN-IBN Indian of the year 2012.

Pranav Mistry.

Pranav holds a Master's degree in Media Arts and Sciences from MIT and Master of Design from Industrial Design Center, IIT Bombay. PhD candidate at MIT Media Lab. Pranav's research on SixthSense was awarded the 2009 Invention Award by Popular Science. He was also named to the MIT Technology Review TR35 as one of the top 35 innovators in the world under the age of 35. He was listed as one of the 37 Indians of Tomorrow by India Today. Recently he joined Samsung electronics as the Director of Research.

Viral Acharya.

B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (1995). Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India (RBI). He has completed his Ph.D. Finance from Stern School of Business, New York University. Awards and accolades: Best Paper on Corporate Governance awarded by the European Corporate Governance Institute, 2008 – "Corporate Governance Externalities". The "Rising Star in Finance" Award at the Inaugural Rising Stars Conference in Albany organized by Rennslear Polytechnic Institute (RPI), 2008. Citibank Best Paper Award at the Summer Research Conference organized by the Center for Analytical Finance (CAF) at Indian Business School, 2007 – "Bankruptcy Codes and Innovation".
